Thomas "Tom" J. Lanigan Obituary

Thomas “Tom” J. Lanigan, 42, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2020. Originally from Skerries, County Dublin, Ireland, he was the beloved son of James and Myriam (Hallinan) Lanigan.

Tom was an accomplished singer-songwriter. His music was loved and spoke to the hearts of many.

Tom was the loving brother of Gráinne Conley and her husband, Christopher; devoted uncle of Logan; nephew of Willie Hallinan (wife, Jean), Monica Costello (husband, Richard), Geraldine Grimes (husband, Gerry), and the late Paul and Jeffrey Hallinan. He is also survived by many loving cousins.

Visiting hours will be held Friday, January 10, 2020 from 4-7 PM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, Warwick.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11 AM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, to honor Tom’s love for cats, memorial contributions to Ten Lives Cat Rescue, 2 Crockett Street, Warwick, RI 02889 will be greatly appreciated.
