Obituary

Robert DiCicco, age 78, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017. He was the beloved husband for 24 years of Barbara E. (Henry) DiCicco. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Giovanni and Rosamunda N. (Cataldo) DiCicco. An Army National Guard Veteran, Robert was a Tool Setter and Production Manager in the Tool and Die Industry for over 40 years, before retiring. A 32nd degree Mason, he served as Grand Master twice, with the Adelphoi Lodge No.33. As a Member of the Shriners, Robert was “Chico” the Shriner Clown. He loved fishing, boating, woodworking and painting, and was a Bob Alexander certified wet on wet oil paint technique painter.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert DiCicco and his wife, Cynthia; two step sons, Walter Fairhurst and his wife, Diane and William Fairhurst and his wife, Molly; seven grandchildren, Bobby DiCicco, Jessica Cummings, David DiCicco, Brandon Fairhurst, Addison Fairhurst, Madison Fairhurst, and Grace Fairhurst; a brother, John DiCicco and his wife, Arleen; and a nephew, John DiCicco, Jr. Robert was the father of the late David DiCicco.

A visitation will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 10 - 11 am with a service to follow at 11 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Shriners Hospitals for Children,
2900 Rocky Point Dr.,
Tampa, FL 33607, will be appreciated.
