Robert D. Ray Obituary

Robert D. Ray, 74, a 46 year Warwick resident, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence. He was the husband of the late Janice E. (Howe) Ray. Born in Little Blue, MO, he was a son of the late Virgil D. and Mary L. (Dodson) Ray. Mr. Ray was a Navy Veteran and a machinist at the former Browne & Sharp for 25 years before retiring in 2003. He was the loving father of David Ray of Burrillville, Kevin Ray of North Providence, Julie Wood of Warwick and Steven Ray of Warwick. He was the brother of James, George and Donald Ray, Roger Stewart, Wanda Danner, Alice Clay, Patricia Martin and the late Bonnie Black; grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 5.
Relatives and friends are invited to a graveside service, Monday December 22, 2014 at 11am in Greenville Cemetery, Smith Ave. Greenville. Visitation respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations to Home & Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904 will be appreciated.
