Richard J. "Dick" Turcotte, 81, of Coventry passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2017. He was the husband of 52 years of Virginia C. (Lucier) Turcotte.
He was born in Coventry, R.I. On September 28, 1935, a devoted son the late Archelas and Maria (Gadoury) Turcotte.
Richard was a respected contractor in and around the Pawtuxet Valley area for many years where he had many friends and many memories. He was an avid Red Sox and Patriots sports fan. He also served his country proudly in the United States Army.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Richard D. Turcotte and his wife, Bonnie and a daughter, Laurie M. Deus and her husband, Evo. In sadness, he leaves four grandchildren, Zachary Deus, Kaitlyn Turcotte, Lauren Deus, and Victoria Turcotte. He was the brother of Gisele "Rita" Turcotte of Coventry and was the father of the late Steven A. Turcotte.
His funeral and burial will be private.
