Nancy J. Schupp Obituary

Nancy J. Schupp, 84, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019. Born in Onondaga, NY., she was a daughter of the late Lyndon N. and Frances W. (Howell) Mooney. Nancy was an accountant and bookkeeper for various construction companies throughout RI. As a dear friend of the Oglala-Lakota Nation of South Dakota, she was given the honorary name of “Blue Bird”. She was also a supporter of the Oglala-Lakota College Early Head Start Program. A member of Christ Church of East Greenwich, she was active in the Needs Ministry. She was the loving mother of her children including Betsy Dickerson; grandmother of Francis Schupp, Amanda Raynor, Dennis Raynor and Eric Raynor, and Christopher Dickerson and Thomas Dickerson; aunt and great aunt to many including Blake Mooney and the sister of 3 siblings including the late Robert Mooney. She also leaves a dear friend of 75 years, Barbara Libert.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 6:30-8:00 pm with a service at 7:30 pm in the Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home 825 Boston Neck Rd N. Kingstown, RI. A Celebration of Life will be held at Christ Church on August 17, 2019 at 11 am with lunch provided.
