Leo A. Derouen, 38, a retired manager passed away Monday, June 27, 2016 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care.
He was the husband of the late Monica Lee (Jones) Derouen and companion of Jessica Lebron. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edmund E. and Suzanne F. (Boucher) Derouen. Leo was the loving father of Rachel C. Derouen and Shandi N. Derouen; brother of Scott E. Derouen and his wife, Aimee, and Dawn M. Derouen. He was the loving uncle to many nieces and nephews; stepfather of Alexander, Ashley, Amelia and Avery Bassett.
His visitation will be held Friday, July 1, from 3-5:30 with a celebration of life at 5:30 in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Leo A. Derouen Memorial Fund, c/o 4 Sherman Street, Riverside, RI 02915, will be appreciated.
