Kathleen L. Blaquiere Obituary

Kathleen L. Blaquiere, (Fennessy), 61, passed away suddenly Tuesday, August 15, 2017, at her family summer cottage. She was the beloved wife of Richard P. Blaquiere for 38 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Daniel J. and Shirley R. (Christie) Fennessy. Kathy was the loving mother of Aaron M. Blaquiere and Ryan D. Blaquiere and his wife Kristy; loving grandmother of Michelle J. Blaquiere; sister of David E. Fennessy and Kerry E. Angelo. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Kathy lived in Warwick and Coventry for many years before moving to Cape Coral Florida 4 years ago and spending summers in her summer cottage in Warwick. She was a graduate of Tollgate High School, Class of 1973. Kathy was a Medical Coding Auditor. Her career included working for Kent County Hospital and Women and Infants for many years and also for Mass General Hospital.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at 11 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Visiting hours, Monday, 4-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the RI SPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI 02915, will be appreciated.
