Joseph Ferragamo, Jr., 84, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne C. (Boisse) Ferragamo. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Joseph and Anna (Iannotti) Ferragamo. Mr. Ferragamo was a tool maker and owner of the Unit Tool Co. of Warwick for over 60 years before retiring. He lived in Scituate for 25 years before moving to Glocester in 2003. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Michael J. Ferragamo and his wife Jan of St. Peter, MN, Linda C. Ferragamo of N. Scituate, John J. Ferragamo and his wife Joanne of Smithfield, and Diane J. Nault and her husband William of Cumberland. He was the brother of Roger “Buddy” Ferragamo of Scituate and the late Ann Pecchia. Mr. Ferragamo is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
His funeral be will held Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at 8:15am from the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Home, 643 Putnam Pike (Rt. 44) Greenville, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will be in Acotes Hill Cemetery, Glocester. Visitation Monday, September 3, 2018 from 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Alzheimers Association, 245 Waterman St., Suite 306, Providence, RI 02906 will be appreciated.
