Jose Abelino Sanchez Moya Obituary

Jose Abelino Sanchez Moya, 76, died Friday, January 8, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Agustina DeJesus Sanchez. Born in El Guano, Santiago, Dominican Republic. He was a son of the late Abelino and Coralia (Moya) Sanchez. Jose was a business owner since the age of 22. He started with his first grocery store in the Dominican Republic. After coming to the United States, he owned similar businesses in Providence, and for several years in the Bronx, New York. Jose was well respected in his community. He had a great love for his family and was instrumental in his children’s success. Besides his wife he is survived by 2 sons Joesph sanchez and his wife Anna Yasmina and Angelo Sanchez and his wife Wendy Sanchez and his 2 daughters Isamir Sanchez and Rosa Sanchez. He was the loving grandfather of Isabella, Gabriella, Camila, Niah, Angelo, Khloe and the late Ian Joseph Sanchez. He was the brother of Candida Gutierrez, Bernado Sanchez, Sergio Sanchez, Augusto Sanchez, Pedro Sanchez, David Sanchez, Caonabo Sanchez, Rolando Sanchez, Felipe Sanchez, Maria Nuńez, Manuel Sanchez, the late Rafael Sanchez, Coralia Sanchez and Yolanda Sanchez.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Wednesday from 9-10 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Lane, Warwick. Burial will be private.
