Isabella E. “Bella” Hartley, 95, of West Warwick passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at the Kent Hospital in Warwick surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Providence on October 22, 1925, a daughter of the late Everett and Sarah F. (Studley) Hartley.
Bella worked as a winder for the former Hope Valley Lace Company and the former Frontier Lace Works in the Pawtuxet Valley are for many years.
She leaves a daughter, Sally Anne Cotter and her husband John “Jack” Cotter of West Warwick; three grandchildren, Walter Stanton, Jr., Jason Stanton, and Crystal Cronin; three sisters, Eunice Kindle of West Warwick, Sarah White of Wisconsin, and Shirley Smith of Coventry; and eight great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Everett Hartley, Jr., Eleanor Tomasso, and Grace Sharp.
The funeral will be private. Arrangements are by the Potvin-Quinn Funeral Home, West Warwick. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association - R.I. Chapter, P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
