Frederick M. Sullivan, Sr. Obituary

Frederick M. Sullivan, Sr., 90, a retired toolmaker from Texas Instruments passed away Monday, January 18, 2021 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the beloved husband of Anne L. (Diaz) Sullivan for 62 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Marcus J. and Sarah T. (Casey) Sullivan.

Frederick was the loving father of Susanne M. Sullivan-Tierney (Thomas) of Port St. Lucie, FL, Tami A. Sullivan-Holmes (John) of Massachusetts, and Frederick M. Sullivan, Jr. of Warwick; loving grandfather of Eric Marold of Riverside, RI, Thomas Tierney of Florida, Sean Tierney of Florida, and Lisa Szymanski of Coventry, RI. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Frederick was the brother of Donald Sullivan of Victorville, CA, Eileen Rawlinson of West Warwick, Robert Sullivan of Warwick, John Sullivan of Perris, CA, Joseph Sullivan of Exeter, and the late Marcus, Raymond, William, Paul Sullivan, and Dolores Tavarozzi. Frederick was an Army veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed his golf and many years spent in his garden along with his wife.

His funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter.
