Obituary

Frank G. Rosa, Jr., 88, died Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was the beloved husband of Virginia R. (Dorsey) Rosa and a son of the late Frank G. and Mary (Rourk) Rosa, Sr. Frank was born in Providence and resided in Warwick for 60 years. He was employed at Hurst Chemical in Coventry for over 30 years as a pipe fitter. An Army veteran, he was discharge with a rank of Corporal. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Warwick Council and the William Shields American Legion Post, #43. He was the loving father of the late Frank M. Rosa. He is also survived by his daughter in-law, Noreen (Kerrigan) Rosa; his grandsons, Frank M. Rosa Jr., Thomas J. Rosa, James D. Rosa, Petty Officer 3rd Class Michael E. Rosa, USN, and granddaughter Kathryn LaFrance; his great-grandchildren, Lily and Hayden. He is predeceased by his sister Gloria Isadoro.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 9-10 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Timothy Church, Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Military honors will immediately follow the Mass. Burial in the RI Veterans Cemetery will be private.
