Brian F. Luiz Obituary

Brian F. Luiz, 51, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at Hope Hospice & Palliative Care in Providence. He was the beloved husband of Kathrin E. (Forgue) Luiz, and a son of the late James and Theresa F. (Dwyer) Luiz. Brian was employed as a Certified Nursing Assistant for the developmentally disabled for many years and for 35 years was a bass guitarist for Vague Perception. He is survived by his children, Tyler J., Kegan R., Tanner M., Kellan B., and Kessler K. Luiz; sisters Catherine M. Doktor, and Theresa Fox; brothers James A., Gary S., and John Luiz; one grandson Sage J. Luiz.

Visiting hours, Friday, July 26, 2019 from 8-9 AM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Funeral and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd., Ste. 3004, Warwick, RI 02886 will be appreciated.
